J.CO Sharing the J.CO Way

I am a very sweet person (well, at least to my family, closest friends and my bf :) that even in food I love to eat the sweet ones... ;) One of my lists is doughnut. When I was a kid I only knew of Dunkin Donuts and Mr. Donut, the popular chains of doughnut here in the Philippines... But when I grew older, there are a lot of other doughnut chains that came in the market. One of my favorites is J.CO, a cafe retailer in Indonesia specializing in doughnuts, yogurt and coffee. Yesterday, after attending the mass, me and bf came to visit J.CO in SM Megamall to buy pasalubong for mom,dad and kapatid. ;) See what we ordered:

It's been awhile since my last post so I want to share something new... Yesterday, me and my brother went to buy some grocery stuff... and look what I found! :) NESTLE YOGURT TOP UPS! My new fave comfort food! :)

It's a strawberry-flavored yogurt with marshmallows and KITKAT bites :) 

CLUB MANILA EAST 4TH SURFING COMPETITION

This is probably one of the most awaited events during the SUMMER SEASON... SURFING COMPETITION. :) But this one is different since it is not surfing in the ocean but in a POOL... yes, you got it right! SURFING IN A POOL...an OCEANWAVE POOL! :)

It is the CLUB MANILA EAST SURFING COMPETITION in cooperation with THE PHILIPPINE SURFING ACADEMY. It is an annual event that everybody looks forward to especially the beginners and seasoned surfers alike. The competition is divided into three (3) divisions: KIDS', MEN'S and WOMEN'S. Last Sunday, March 24, 2013, was the CME 4TH SURFING COMPETITION. A lot of surfers from beginners to seasoned surfers were present and showed what they've got. :)

I am really a chocolate lover that even in drinks I want the chocolate flavor... Introducing my fave choco drink from Starbucks... SILK SOYA! :) 

1st ANNIVERSARY :)

After so many failed relationships, heartaches, pains and sadness, comes a happy, stable, mature, lovely and meaningful relationship... I know for sure that there's no PERFECT relationship but this relationship I have now is incomparable and is close to perfection. I am truly grateful and blessed to have someone who loves me unconditionally and cares for me so much. We just celebrated our first year of being together and working on the second and the coming years, I just would like to share what we had on our special day. :) 

On the morning of March 10, 2013, he surprised me with a very beautiful bouquet of flowers... ♥

We started our day by hearing a mass at the Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord  in SM Megamall...

After the mass, we bought a couple ring in UNISILVER which we had our names and our anniversary engraved on it... ♥

We had our simple lunch at BONCHON... 

We were supposedly visit Wensha Spa in Pasay but too lazy to go since we only had a day to celebrate our "DAY"... :) We just wanted to be together on that day and so, we decided to stay and be pampered in LET'S FACE IT SALON where we had a foot spa and massage and I had my toe nails colored.

It was not an EXTRAORDINARY celebration but it was indeed a MEMORABLE one... I am looking forward for more years to celebrate with him. :) 031012 ♥

I am a proud CHOCOLATE LOVER! :) I cannot resist chocolates or sweets... I just love to eat every single of it... I know I'm getting fat these days but its just that..."How can you not be tempted to eat those heavenly taste chocolates and sweets???" And here's a new one I could add to my long list of favorite chocolates...yumyumyum...

EARLY BIRD BREAKFAST CLUB

When I started reading Ms. Patty Laurel's blogsite, I never knew I would really be hooked up... Everyday I always make sure I visit her blog just to not be left out since almost everyday she has a new blog post plus she has giveaways for her blog readers. One post from her that really caught my attention is her blog about EARLY BIRD BREAKFAST CLUB in BGC. After reading that post, I hurriedly plan our visit to that very awesome resto... 

It was last Sunday when me and CJ visited the resto. We had a hard time finding the place but it was all worth it when we came inside... :) (see pictures below)

I was totally in love with the place. ♥.♥ The place is very bright, very colorful, very inviting and has a very good ambiance. Let's now move on to their food...

I like the taste of the tapa.. It's very tasty and tender. I love everything in the serving. :) Adobo Sunrise also met the approval of CJ. He said it's like chicharon because of the crispness. The Fresh Orange cooler is also great. I love every sip of it. :) And for dessert... yumyumyum...

Choco Banana Berry French Toast

This is not our original order, we are craving for a Nutella Cheesecake but according to the waiter it would take so much time to prepare since it's already not available. He suggested the Peanut Butter and Caramel French Toast but then, again, apologized because it's also not available. So, we looked for another one and we landed to this Choco Banana Berry French Toast and bang! we made the right choice! I love its sweetness... perfect for a person with a sweet tooth like me... I love the French Toast... I love that they put a banana inside... with choco syrup... creme... and oh! a strawberry! :)

I'd love to visit this place again... I love how the place were decorated and beautified... I love how their staff greeted us and took care of our every needs and wants... I love how their dishes were served... I love the taste of their food... I love the atmosphere... and oh I just love EARLY BIRD BREAKFAST CLUB! I will definitely come back and try other dishes. :)

HAPPY SUNDAY :)

Sunday is a happy day! :) After some stressful work at home, me and CJ went to happy places. ^^ Our first stop was at Early Bird Breakfast Club in Bonifacio Global City where we ate our late lunch... :)

After our sumptuous meal at Early Bird, we headed off to Sachi Massage in Taytay Rizal for a soothing foot and body massage... ^^

Honestly, our yesterday's visit was worse because I didn't feel relax after but I felt my body was battered. I can still feel the pain of the massage. I've been a regular customer almost a year ago together with my boyfriend but only this time I felt that way. Anyways, I still want to go back after that very painful experience. I will just request another massage therapist next time. :)

After my painful massage, I requested CJ to go with me in Starbucks because I really wanted to ease the pain I'm feeling...so, he treated me a waffle with strawberry syrup and a Strawberries & Creme Frapp... :)

It was a looooooooong day but I super loooooooooove it! We both went home with BIG SMILES on our faces. :) HAPPY ME! :)
